TODAY'S WORD

Do you ever feel like things in your life are out of control? Usually that happens when we allow our circumstances to dictate our thoughts and attitudes. You might say, "Well, Joel, the economy is wreaking havoc on my business." Or "This relationship is just too far gone." But I say, today is the day to take your life back! We live in this natural realm, but as believers, we are not limited by this natural realm. We can tap into God's supernatural power, but it starts by making every thought line up with the Word of God.

Today, take your life back by taking your thoughts back. Don't allow the enemy to have access any longer. Instead, meditate on the Word of God daily and allow His truth to sink down deep into your spirit. Let His truth make you free.

Today, as you take captive every thought and boldly declare His promises over your life, you are setting yourself up for victory. You are positioning yourself to partake of every spiritual blessing He has in store for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, thank You for empowering me to live in victory today. I choose to take my life back by taking captive every thought and submitting it to You. Help me live a life that is pleasing to You, Jesus, today and every day. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

His Thoughts toward You

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE

"How precious are Your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can't even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand!"
(Psalm 139:17-18, NLT)

TODAY'S WORD

Did you know God is thinking about you right now? He thinks about you constantly. You are always on His mind. Do you know what He's thinking? He's not thinking about all that you've done wrong in your life. No, He's thinking about the good things He has in store for your future. Jeremiah 29:11 tells us that His thoughts are for our good. His plans are to prosper us and give us a future and a hope.

Do you know what else He's thinking? He's thinking about how much He loves you. He's not mad at you; He's madly in love with you! Let that love bring security to your heart and mind. Just take a deep breath right now and breathe in His love and peace. The Bible says that perfect love casts out all fear. When you receive His love, it drives out fear and gives you confidence to embrace the good things He has in store for you.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God, thank You for thinking of me today. Thank You for loving me and for doing a work in my life. I receive Your love which drives out all fear. Make me new as I meditate on You. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

B.o.B and Goodie Mob at the Tabernacle

The Tabernacle usually hosts mostly alternative rock bands, but there comes a time when a real gem comes into the venue, and that%u2019s when I discovered B.O.B. aka Bobby Ray. He opened for Goodie Mob, but I was just swept by both his performance and music. It is highly recommended if you really like rap that is really from the heart, somewhat like Lupe Fiasco. Well I can%u2019t really explain much about it, but the lyrics are true to heart, not trash like the top 40 songs you hear on the radio.



And some special appearances to accent his style.





Next, Goodie Mob was on stage, and it was kind of hard for them to follow such a great artist. But I still enjoyed the flashback of this group.
